Eastern White Pine
Available in widths up to 20 inches, Eastern White Pine yields the widest boards
milled for flooring today. Its golden color and distinctive knotting make it the
perfect choice for a country farmhouse or rustic log cabin.
Often, we are asked by customers, “Isn’t pine too soft for flooring?”
The answer to that depends on the look and feel you want to achieve. Pine is a soft
wood. It will dent and dimple with heavy foot traffic, but anyone who has seen one
of these floors, knows the welcoming and comfortable, “lived-in” look
it acquires over time.
