Deposits

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence an order. The deposit is non-refundable; however it can be applied to a different species if the order is amended within 2 weeks of placement. The lead-time on the revised order will be adjusted accordingly.

Quantities

We recommend ordering a minimum of 15% waste on all Antique/Recycled products and 10% on all newly sawn woods.
*Antique recycled woods may contain nail holes, knots, worm holes, and checking.

Lead Time

Delivery will be 2-4 weeks from receipt of deposit on newly sawn woods and 4-6 weeks on all FSC and antique products; however we will make every attempt to accommodate special requests with lead times outside of these parameters.

Installation and Finishing

All flooring must be acclimated inside the home (with the heat or air conditioning running where applicable) for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to installation. We recommend "a full spread glue" in addition to nailing directly to the plywood sub-floor. Techniques for installation over radiant heat will be provided upon request.

Payment

Final payment is due at the time of delivery unless other payment terms have been arranged. Since our products are custom orders, all sales are final; however, we will replace any damaged or defective material when reported within 2 weeks of delivery.

Storage

If you are unable to take delivery within 2 weeks of the agreed upon due date, a monthly storage fee of up to 3% may be assessed.
